Original TickKey Tick Removal Device

Always within reach when a tick-removal tool is needed.

The Original TickKey is a compact tick-removal device designed for quick access at home or on the trail. Measuring just 2.5 inches long, its flat anodized-aluminum construction attaches easily to a keychain, backpack, leash, dog-walking bag or pet collar, making it a practical on-the-go solution when space is limited.

The teardrop-shaped opening uses forward leverage to help remove an attached tick without squeezing it. Simply place the opening over the tick and slide the TickKey flush along the skin according to the included directions. When used properly, it is designed to remove the complete tick, including its embedded mouthparts.

The TickKey complements our three-piece tick-removal kit especially well. Keep the multi-size kit at home or in your primary first-aid supplies for more removal options, and attach the TickKey to the gear that goes everywhere with you.

A True On-the-Go Solution

  • Keychain

  • Hiking pack

  • Dog leash

  • Dog-walking bag

  • First-aid pouch

  • Travel bag

  • Pet collar, when appropriate and supervised

Its small profile makes it a helpful backup for trail walks, dog-park visits, camping trips and everyday outdoor activities.

Complements Our Three-Piece Tick-Removal Kit

These tools serve different roles:

  • Original TickKey: Best for compact, immediate access while away from home.

  • Three-piece tick-removal kit: Provides multiple tool sizes for different tick sizes and more controlled removal options.

Keep the three-piece kit with your main first-aid supplies and carry the TickKey with the gear you use every day.

Why We Carry It

Tick encounters rarely happen beside a fully stocked medicine cabinet. The Original TickKey is small enough to remain attached to the gear you already carry, helping ensure that a removal tool is available during walks, hikes and everyday outdoor activities.
